Ronessa Strickland-Roberts brings more than three decades of dynamic leadership across public health, nonprofit operations, and community-driven initiatives. As Owner and Principal Consultant of Volcano Consulting, LLC—a minority and women-owned multidisciplinary firm dedicated to serving public health and nonprofit sectors—she guides organizations in advancing meaningful missions and enhancing impact.

With a career spanning roles as administrator, instructor, director, manager, and evaluator, Ronessa has deep experience in providing clinical, programmatic, and administrative leadership. Her expertise encompasses evaluation and research methodologies, protocol development, program design and development, health education, the social determinants of health, BIPOC-focused health initiatives, equity and inclusion, behavioral and youth services, human sexuality and sexual health, epidemiology and infection control, allied health training, grant writing, policy and procedure development, and nonprofit capacity building.
